Transformative-Teaching-Integrating-NEP-2020

Date: July 21st-25th, 2025

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS), The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh, organized a One Week Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme “Transformative Teaching: Integrating NEP 2020 & Outcome Based Education.” The FDP aimed to enhance teaching methodologies and align academic practices with the objectives of NEP 2020 and Outcome Based Education (OBE). Eminent speakers delivered sessions on innovative teaching practices, curriculum design, and effective learning strategies. The program was informative and interactive, providing valuable insights into modern teaching approaches and academic development.

Workshop-on-HPLC

Date: September 12, 2025

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS) organized a one-day workshop on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography at Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse group of students, with a total of 45 participants attending from both the university and from other academic institutions across the region. The participants were guided through various aspects of HPLC, including sample preparation, mobile phase selection, and detector settings.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS), The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club, Women’s Club and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a guest lecture during National Pharmacy Week – 2025 on the topic “Two Silent Threats: Raising Awareness About HIV and Cervical Cancer for All.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Manisha Bhagat, Senior Consultant (Gynecology), Moon Hospital, Baddi. The session focused on spreading awareness about HIV and cervical cancer, their prevention, early diagnosis, and importance of health education. The lecture was informative and helped students understand the significance of preventive healthcare and awareness regarding these major health issues.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS), The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with the Mental Wellbeing Club and IQAC organized a guest lecture during National Pharmacy Week – 2025 on the topic “Healthy Mind Healthy Body.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ritu Diwan (BAMS), Ayushman Arogya Mandir. The session highlighted the importance of maintaining mental and physical health for overall well-being. The lecture was informative and helped students understand the significance of a balanced lifestyle and mental wellness.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh organized a Symposium on “Regulatory Framework for Medical Devices” on February 23, 2026 in the Conference Hall. The expert session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Arora, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Amity University, Mohali. He explained key regulatory aspects related to medical devices, including classification, approval pathways, compliance requirements, quality standards, and recent updates in regulatory policies. The session was informative and interactive, providing students with valuable insights into regulatory affairs in the medical device industry. A total of 51 students participated in the symposium.

Workshop-on-TalkReddy

Date: February 18, 2026

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Faculty of Management Studies organized an expert session on “TalkReddy – AI Interview Readiness Challenge”, under the Departmental Placement Cell. The session was delivered by Ms. Pallavi Shinde, L&D Manager at Knovon Consulting, Pvt. Ltd. This workshop introduced students to AI-based interview preparation tools designed to enhance communication, confidence, and interview performance. Participants gained insights into how artificial intelligence can support mock interviews, provide performance feedback, and help improve employability skills. The informative and interactive session witnessed the active participation of 60 students.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Faculty of Management Studies organized a workshop on “Negotiation: Conflict Resolution & Role Plays” under the PSI (Placement Selection Improvement Program). The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ negotiation and interpersonal skills required in professional environments. Participants engaged in role-play activities simulating real workplace conflicts and negotiation scenarios. The session highlighted the importance of communication strategies, emotional intelligence, and collaborative problem-solving. 48 students actively participated and gained practical exposure to effective conflict management techniques.

Management-Games-Challenge-Your-Mind

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Faculty of Management Studies organized a workshop titled “Management Games – Challenge Your Mind” under the PSI (Placement Selection Improvement Program) for the students. The workshop aimed to develop analytical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills through engaging management games and business simulations. Students worked in teams to solve strategic challenges, encouraging collaboration, leadership, and innovative thinking. The activity-based learning approach made the session highly engaging and effective. Around 50 students actively participated in the workshop.

Workplace-Challenges

Date: October 31, 2025

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Faculty of Management Studies organized a grooming session workshop titled “Workplace Challenges”. The session was conducted by Ms. Pallavi, an industry expert from Able Pharma, Baddi. The workshop focused on preparing students for professional environments by discussing workplace expectations, communication skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Real-life corporate examples were shared to provide practical insights into organizational culture and challenges. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students.

Redefining-Teaching

Date: July 28 – August 1, 2025

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Faculty of Management Studies organized a five-day Online Faculty Development Programme titled “Redefining Teaching: From Lesson Plans to Life Balance.” The FDP aimed to enhance innovative teaching methodologies while emphasizing faculty well-being and work–life balance. Experts discussed learner-centric pedagogy, digital teaching tools, stress management, and strategies for effective classroom engagement. The programme served as a valuable platform for academic enrichment and professional development. Around 130 faculty members from different states actively participated and benefited from the sessions.

Twit-Talks-Workshop

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), in collaboration with the Mental Well-Being Club, successfully organized Twit Talks 2.0 workshop, focused on enhancing mental health awareness. The event saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 60 students and faculty members, making it an engaging and insightful experience. Both students and faculty shared personal experiences that fostered resilience and personal growth. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to address their concerns, gain deeper insights into mental well-being and financial literacy, and contribute to the event’s overall success.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) organized a One Day Workshop on “Basic Excel: Essential Skills for Beginners” under the Literacy Club on February 19, 2025. The workshop aimed to equip students with fundamental spreadsheet skills required for academic and professional tasks. Participants received hands-on training in basic Excel functions, data entry, formatting, simple formulas, and introductory data analysis tools. The session enhanced students’ analytical and technical competencies in spreadsheet management. A total of 50 students actively participated and benefited from practical learning experience.
